Jennifer Burger is the owner and principal of Burger Art Services LLC, where she specializes in appraising Fine Art Photographs, Prints, and Post War and Contemporary Art. She is an Accredited Candidate of the Appraisers Association of America and is compliant with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP).
Jennifer has an academic background in art history, receiving an M.A. in Photographic Preservation and Collections Management from the University of Rochester, and has held positions at the Visual Studies Workshop, Memorial Art Gallery, George Eastman Museum, and Image Permanence Institute. She has lectured extensively on topics related to collecting contemporary art and has taught workshops on print and photographic identification and preservation throughout the United States at institutions such as Yale University, The Smithsonian Institution, and Stanford University.
In addition to her role as an appraiser, Jennifer is the current director of Ronnen Fine Art, where she has accumulated more than fourteen years of experience in the global art market. She serves as a panelist for the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), is on the Visual Studies Workshop Board of Trustees, and is an active member of the Buffalo AKG Art Museum Convergence Council.
